About Parkhead Station

Parkhead itself is the former station master's house which has been sympathetically restored by owners Terry and Lorraine Turnbull to provide B&B & Tea Rooms with added attractions such as a Photographic/Art Gallery, Artwork ,railway memorabilia (kindly donated to Parkhead from numerous customers/visitors) also artefacts to test your knowledge.

Parkhead Station once described as 'an extraordinary and disagreeable Dales relic' in 1998 before restoration but present day descriptions by visitors include terms as 'an oasis of the moor', 'haven' and 'sanctuary' with many returning clients returning to Parkhead regularly.
