Wainwrights C2C on a bike - This website offers cyclists the chance to follow - almost - in the footsteps of Wainwright and travel from St. Bees to Robin Hoods Bay whilst leaving the preparation and planning to the experts.

Newcastle Cityriders - based in the North East, the Cityriders have raised thousands for charity and continue to do so. The Cumbria Way Cycle Route - a newly researched cycle route from Ulverston to Carlisle and designed to be ridden over two days. The route travels through the very heart of the Lake District and is well worth checking out.
Mountain Bike Cumbria - An excellent site, well designed and with good content and it does exactly what it says on the tin!
Rough Rides - this site sets out preset bike trails that you can download, with four start and finish points: all at pubs and all in or near to the English border town of Kington

fell walking is becoming a bit of an obssession with me so here I have started to place a small selection of sites which i find useful and/or informative
 
Isaac's Tea Trail - Set up to attract walkers to this part of the North Pennines, particularly around Nenthead and Coalcleugh. The majority of cyclists by this stage are focused on reaching the coast.  Those who may also be walkers may be want to return another time to explore by foot this part of the North Pennines - Isaac's Tea Trail - is one way to do this.
