Just finished a four day trip with my 13 year old son – the first cycle touring he has done.  It was tough at times, but a great experience.

We kept a blog which can be found at http://pandac2c.blogspot.com.  I’ll be uploading the GPS track logs shortly.

He had Go Pro Hero 2 camera on his helmet, so we have a video record of most of the trip.

The negatives – The Mill Inn at Mungrisdale was a disappointment and the stretch of A686 with bikers tearing up and down using both sides of the road at ridiculous speeds was scary.

The positives – too many to mention, but some of the downhills were tremendous.
