Mountain Rescue needs YOUR help

April 2nd, 2015 by

Please take the time to look at this new film, which was released at noon on April 2 2015. It shows the valued work the Mountain Rescue service does, not just on the peaks, but also in the troughs, when people get snowed in or stranded on the highways and byways of the Lake District, during the long winter months. It was made by Jacquie and David Freeborn, who run Motherby House B&B at Motherby, just outside Greystoke. They are film-makers as well as bed-makers and fryers of bacon. It is an excellent film and shows the circumstances under which these brave volunteers work. Donations are what keeps they afloat.
